About this image

This is another photo, which I took during a photography trip to Tory Island, Donegal. I went there with a very good friend of mine Mark Macdonald, 1 week before my wedding. I love Tory's spectacular cliffs but I am also pretty scared of heights and I knew I had to take the photo from a precarious location on a ledge to get the best angle. Mark carried my stuff down to the ledge while I, petrified, scuppered down on my backside. Mark had to keep me calm as I shot and I was even afraid to lean forward to change the camera settings on the view camera. Mark had to do it to my instructions. After a lot of hyperventilating, puffing and panting, I managed to get this image, which I am very happy with....thank God! I took a panoramic version of the scene at the same time. You will find that in my panoramic Ireland section. I can't make up my mind which one I prefer.
