Gurteen Beach (Trá na Feadóige in Irish meaning small field) is located near Roundstone, a beautiful coastal village in Connemara, County Galway, West of Ireland. This sandy beach offers breathtaking views of the the Atlantic Ocean.There are quite unusual rounded rock formations there which may give the village Roundstone it's name.
This photograph was taken during a summer trip to Connemara.The light was quite contrasty because of the high level of the sun which works really well for black and white.
