While walking on the Dun Laoghaire Pier on a vibrant summer’s day immersed in music, I suddenly noticed the bare concrete structures of the pier visible due to the low tide. I knew instantly that the low tide and afternoon light would create an enigmatic seascape photo of Dublin to add to my collection. I hurried home to get my camera. Soon, I decided to capture a long exposure photo using an ND filter to darken the settings. An exposure of 80 seconds coupled with the moving clouds in the sky created a wonderful long exposure photo of the Dublin seascape that I have always dreamt of.
