Autumn at Ross Island

This image was taken on my visit to Ross Island last Autumn. Ross Island is a claw-shaped peninsula in Killarney National Park. It is covered in lush vegetation and is a photographer’s paradise.

I love the sliver of sun light on the ground in this image, how the rest of the ground remains in the shadows, and the backlit autumnal leaves. Everything is perfectly balanced.
