Located near Torr Head in Antrim, the Port Aleen Bay offers a treasure trove of scenic beauty. The heavenly sunrise in this place is something that must be witnessed with one’s own eyes. Spending the previous night in a camper van, I woke before sunrise to capture the perfect sunrise photo. The windy weather and gale called for freezing temperatures. But my excitement prevailed over everything. As the sun burst out of the darkness painting the eastern sky with vibrant tinctures, I captured one of my favourite Northern Ireland photos in the spectacular light of the sun.
