Description

The monastic home of the Benedictine nuns, the Kylemore Abbey is known for its lush greenery and regal splendour. Located in the heart of Connemara near Letterfrack in County Galway, the abbey stands proudly on the banks of Kylemore Lough. It was quite dark and there was insufficient light to capture the photograph. Suddenly, a generous amount of heavenly light poured upon the land creating perfect conditions for me to take this fantastic photograph. The white structure in the midst of all these greenery elevated the beauty of this portrait.
