Description

“All ships must sail to the Illy Ally Oh”- the extract from an Irish poem; the name Illy Ally Oh was given to this certain place located at Ladies Brae in the Ox Mountains in County Sligo after my cousin lost his toy boat as we played there. A place with a stark of fond memories attached to it, I was delighted to have obtained the opportunity to capture the place in my camera. The monochromatic format of the photograph enhanced the persona of the two major rocks while the water resembled silk with long exposure.
