Description

The area of Glendalough in County Wicklow is a very popular tourist destination. It is famous for the magnificent scenery and for Saint Kevin’s Tower which stands 33m and was built almost 1000 years ago. There are 2 wonderful lakes in the area; the upper and lower lakes. This image is of the Glendalough Lower Lake. It was captured on a frosty morning this winter. The lake was complexly frozen and full of great texture.
