It was a delightful opportunity to photograph the decrepit structures inside Boland’s Mill before it went under redevelopment by BKD architects. Filled with interesting locations, I chose this particular location in this untended site to capture a breathtaking photograph. My interest towards machines played a crucial role in choosing this site. I wanted to create a vision for the viewers that they are part of a machine too. The symmetrical pipes as evident from the photograph had an appearance of a winged creature which bewitched my mind greatly.
