Description

The story of behind this photograph of the abandoned Blackrock Swimming Baths is really exciting. Captured as a part of my fine art photography project, this picture was particularly one of the two shots that I had been trying to take for a long time. It took me seven tries to finally get the perfect shot that I desired. Actually, I wanted to capture the photograph when the tide would be low while sun shining at a certain angle thus draping the old diving platform in a sultry light. Much has changed with time, but the place takes you back to a time when these streets used to be very busy.
