This is another photo taken from the beautiful Kinnagoe beach during a trip to Donegal. It is located in a lovely secluded bay near Greencastle on the eastern side of the Inishowen peninsula in Donegal, Ireland. This was one of my first photos taken that morning. I didn't manage to get there before morning as I got a bit lost! I love this scene. The light was incredible. I managed to get the shot with the sun slightly hidden behind the clouds. This reduced the possibility of flair, which can be a problem with view cameras due to the bouncing of light within the lens. The photo is composed of 2 sets of 7 photos, which are than stitched to form the panoramic photo. I find the photo very uplifting and almost biblical.

Sunrise Kinnagoe Beach 1 received a Gold award in the 2012 IPPA photographer of the year awards.
