This photo was taken in the summer after one of those beautiful sunsets that always seem to appear in Dun Laoghaire, where I live. Here you see the Dun Laoghaire baths with Dun Laoghaire harbour east pier in the background.  The baths, although an ugly structure, have a lot of character and contrasted perfectly with the softness of the calm water and the colours of the sky.

The Dun Laoghaire Baths is currently exhibited in the 2010 RHA annual exhibition. The photo on show is a limited edition of 10, printed as a 1.6m wide Lambda print mounted on dibond.
