I took this photo on a beautiful June day, while driving around the Mizen Peninsula in County Cork Ireland. I came across this old Watchtower in a field beside the R591 road just west of Spanish Point opposite the appropriately named Rock island. Old, dilapidated and overgrown with ivy, it has with time become part of the landscape.
