About this image
I captured these burnt furze bushes on my first ever trip to Cape Clear island, which lies of south west of County Cork in Ireland. It is the southernmost inhabited part of Ireland and has a population of over 100 people. The bushes are like clawed hands, forming a silhouette against the clear sky. The composition works perfectly for black and white as it breaks down any distractions to the 2 main points of focus - the bushes.
